Sujatha Arvind
Sujatha Arvind (b. 1964) is an accomplished watercolor artist with a unique passion for preserving the beauty of Indian temple architecture through her art. Holding postgraduate degrees in Physics and Management, Sujatha’s artistic journey marries precision with creativity, creating works that celebrate heritage and tradition.
Her style is rooted in traditional watercolor painting, with a focus on capturing the intricate details and timeless elegance of Indian temples and sculptures, particularly those with historical significance. Occasionally, she incorporates gouache to add depth and texture to her compositions.
Among her most cherished accomplishments is teaching her special needs son the art of watercolor painting, using her mastery of loose painting techniques to inspire and nurture his creativity. Currently, she is collaborating on a book about Mahayana Buddhist temples, blending her love for architecture with her artistic expertise.
