The Ramon Magsaysay Award is considered Asia's most prestigious prize, recognizing individuals and organizations that have made life-changing contributions to their communities, countries, and even the world. Established in 1957 by the Rockefeller Brothers Fund, this award honors the legacy of former Philippines President Ramon Magsaysay, who exemplified integrity, advocacy for ordinary people, and idealism in a democratic society.

The Ramon Magsaysay Laureates come from diverse fields such as entrepreneurship, nation-building, arts, journalism, music, banking, etc. Their extraordinary vision, philosophy, and work have provided innovative solutions to the challenging problems faced by Asia.

In a world that often seems bleak, these laureates serve as inspiration. Their words and actions demonstrate the boundless potential of human endeavor.
