Gizzele Delos Santos-Eustaquio
The Illustrator
Gizzele Delos Santos-Eustaquio is a freelance artist. Her works are inspired mainly by floral art in watercolors. Her intricately rendered artworks paved the way for her to be invited to be an illustrator for this book.
She became proficient in botanical illustrations mainly through self-study but also received valuable coaching and close supervision from the author during the preparation of this book; she is a licensed Medical Technologist by profession and served as a dedicated healthcare practitioner in hospitals and clinical laboratories in the Philippines but became a freelance artist in the latter part of her career, deciding to pursue her passion for art.
Gizzele is looking to further her involvement in botanical artworks in the future and to help promote knowledge and public appreciation of Southeast Asia's diverse and outstanding flora.
